At Gainesville Animal Hospital, our commitment to excellent care starts with a strong team. Our managers and key staff bring years of experience and dedication to every part of our hospital, from caring for pets to supporting clients and handling daily operations.
They are the core of our practice, making sure each pet receives quality treatment and every client feels valued. Whether leading, mentoring, or assisting with care, they work together to create a warm and welcoming environment for you and your pets.

Hospital Manager - East and West
Erica H.
Erica H. has been a vital part of the Gainesville Animal Hospital team since 2013, but worked for Dr. Sameck at another hospital since June 2008. A graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Animal Sciences, she brings over 22 years of veterinary experience and a lifetime of animal care knowledge—including work with dogs, cats, exotics, reptiles, horses, pigs, and even guide dogs for the blind. She was also a Horse Bowl Champion with the Tennessee State 4-H program.
As Hospital Manager, Erica oversees daily operations, supports the team, and ensures top-quality care for every client and patient. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of veterinary professionals and takes great pride in fostering a positive, high-performing work environment.
Erica shares her home with a mini schnauzer and two bearded dragons. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family—often on the soccer field or in the dance studio with her children.

Hospital Manager & Lead Receptionist - East
Camalyne R.
Camalyne R. has been a cornerstone of Gainesville Animal Hospital since January 2012, growing from a newcomer to veterinary medicine into her current dual role as Hospital Manager and Lead Receptionist. With over 13 years of dedication, she is often found at the front desk, greeting clients, checking in and out patients, managing inventory, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling just about everything in between.
What she values most are the lasting relationships she’s built with clients over the years. Advocating for pets and their owners is close to her heart—and seeing all the adorable animals is a welcome bonus!
At home, Camalyne has a full house with three rescue dogs, three cats, and seven beloved rescue guinea pigs.
When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys traveling with her husband and aims to visit all 50 states (23 down so far!). She also loves spending quality time with her family and furry companions.

Administrative Supervisor
Sara N.
Sara N. has been a dedicated member of Gainesville Animal Hospital since August 2017, starting as both a technician and receptionist. With a B.S. in Biology from Florida International University, she brought valuable experience from her previous work at a rescue and boarding facility in South Florida.
Now serving as Administrative Supervisor, Sara oversees inventory, trains staff, and acts as a shift lead—helping the team and doctors deliver the highest quality care to our patients. She especially enjoys phlebotomy, working with senior pets, and mentoring new team members.
Sara is proud of the lasting bonds she forms with clients and their pets. At home, she dotes on her beloved pitbull/hound mix who loves stuffed toys and being spoiled with watermelon and cucumber. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, target sports, and indulging her love of all things Star Trek.

Technician Supervisor
Martin C.
Martin C. joined Gainesville Animal Hospital in May 2019 as a kennel technician and has grown into a leadership role with six years of experience. Now serving as Technician Supervisor, Martin helps guide the technician team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and that the hospital operates at its best. He also works closely with the doctors to support patients and clients throughout their visits.
Martin’s favorite part of his job is building strong, trusting relationships with both pets and their owners. At home, he has a small flock of chickens and one dog. In his free time, Martin enjoys gardening, fishing, playing video games, and reading.

Lead Receptionist - West
Stacey A.
Stacey A. joined Gainesville Animal Hospital in July 2022, starting in a dual role as both technician and receptionist. Her dedication to learning and growing within the field led her to become Lead Receptionist, where she now oversees front office operations across the hospitals and supports wherever needed to ensure excellent client and patient care.
With a lifelong love for both animals and people, Stacey thrives in the supportive, family-like atmosphere at GAH. She takes pride in helping pets and their owners feel cared for and understood.
At home, Stacey has a Yorkie, two pit bulls, and a cat. Her favorite way to spend time outside of work is with her family and beloved pets.

Lead Receptionist - East
Kayce M.
Kayce M. has been a valued member of Gainesville Animal Hospital since February 2023. Starting as a receptionist trainee, she has grown into a leadership role, now guiding the front desk team with a warm smile and a commitment to exceptional client care. Kayce takes pride in being the first friendly face our clients see, helping to create a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door. She supports her team in staying focused and making every pet a priority.
At home, Kayce enjoys life with her two dogs, two cats, and a lively fish tank. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and two children, especially boating in their favorite getaway—Cedar Key. She also enjoys reading and connecting with family and friends.

Senior Vet Technician
Fawn H.
Fawn H. officially joined the Gainesville Animal Hospital team in March 2025, but her journey with Dr. Sameck began back in 2020 at a previous clinic. With over 24 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Fawn started her career at just 15 years old working in kennels and quickly rose to the role of lead technician.
What Fawn loves most about being a veterinary technician is the chance to comfort and care for animals when they’re in pain or feeling unwell—being a calming, reassuring presence during their time of need.
At home, Fawn is the proud pet parent to “her boys”—a dog and a cat. Outside of work, she’s an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoys kayaking, camping, hiking, and horseback riding whenever she gets the chance.

Senior Vet Technician
Emily F.
Emily F. joined the Gainesville Animal Hospital team in 2021 and brings over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field through shadowing, volunteering, and hands-on roles. She’s been working toward her dream of becoming a veterinarian since she was just three years old and is currently a veterinary student—balancing her studies with her responsibilities at GAH.
As a senior technician, Emily plays a vital role in patient care by assisting doctors with treatments, collecting samples, running diagnostics, providing surgical support, and communicating with pet owners to ensure they feel confident and informed. She finds joy in helping pet parents show love to their animals by keeping them happy and healthy.
At home, Emily has a pittie named Finn and two rescue cats. While free time is rare, she enjoys spending it with friends and family, exploring nature, or relaxing with a good scroll on the couch.

Senior Vet Technician
Angela R.
Angela R. joined Gainesville Animal Hospital in June 2023, bringing with her a passion for veterinary medicine that began during her time researching canines with the University of Florida’s pediatric department in 2021. Her dedication to exploring the human-animal bond led her to pursue a career as a veterinary technician.
As a senior tech, Angela plays a key leadership role—delegating tasks to ensure efficient, high-quality care for every patient. She is also passionate about mentoring fellow technicians, helping them build confidence and grow their skills. Angela values being part of a team that balances top-tier patient care with a warm, family-like environment.
At home, Angela has three cats and a miniature dachshund. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Senior Vet Technician
Elizabeth G.
Elizabeth G. joined Gainesville Animal Hospital in December 2023, bringing with her three years of experience in veterinary care. Starting as a receptionist, she quickly grew into a leadership role as a Senior Technician. Elizabeth now helps train new team members, assists doctors in surgery, and plays a key role in maintaining the high standard of care GAH is known for.
Her favorite part of the job is helping sick pets feel better and seeing the difference quality care can make. Elizabeth shares her home with two cats, and outside of work, she enjoys hiking, drawing, and playing video games.

Senior Kennel Technician
Mike W.
Mike W. has been a valued member of Gainesville Animal Hospital since July 1987, earning the distinction of being our longest-serving employee. As our senior kennel technician, Mike is known for his loyalty, kindness, and all-around dedication to the well-being of every pet that walks through our doors.
He takes great pride in making sure your fur-babies are clean, comfortable, and well cared for during their visit. Mike plays an essential role in the daily operations of both our East and West hospitals, often splitting his time between locations to support wherever he’s needed most. Whether he’s assisting doctors and technicians or helping behind the scenes, Mike ensures that everything runs smoothly—and that each pet receives the very best care possible.
