You may wonder why you see new faces in the reception area when you come in. Well, there are several reasons:
- We have high standards for customer service and patient care. For this reason, all new employees begin their training process in the reception area. This allows us to emphasize the importance of customer service, answering the phones courteously, and putting patient care first.
- Our team members are cross trained. This means that your receptionist is trained to assist the doctors and technicians with patients. Your technicians can answer phones and check you out at the end of your visit to help provide faster service. This makes our team highly efficient and more knowledgeable to answer questions and serve your needs.
- Many of our team members are students. Most of them aspire to one day be a veterinarian themselves. Once they have their foundation as a receptionist, they can begin learning the practical, hands on skills they will need when they become a veterinarian. Of course, all of this training is done under close guidance of a senior technician and veterinarian. Once accepted into vet school, the demand of schooling is high and most of our veterinary students are only able to work on weekends.
- We have three locations. Our three locations work closely to provide the best possible care for your pet. Our team members are familiar with each location and often rotate from one location to the next. This allows us to have the most skilled team in place ready to serve the needs of your pet.
Seeing a new face doesn’t mean we have all new employees. Often, the team members you know and love are just a few feet away assisting the doctor with an exam or caring for a patient in need. The quality of service you receive from our team is our highest priority.
