Alanna grew up in Tampa, Florida and moved to Gainesville to go to school. She is planning on getting a degree in animal sciences from UF and going on to become a veterinarian. She has been a technician at Gainesville Animal Hospital since February 2016. She enjoys paddle-boarding, yoga, rock-climbing, and video games. She has her silly old cat named Felix and her even sillier new addition Shakespeare to keep her on her toes. Blan
Connie is originally from Tallahassee, Florida. She moved to Gainesville for school and is currently attending the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Connie has been working with us at Gainesville Animal Hospital since November 2015. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks with her dog Linus. She is very crafty and is the artist for the welcome sign at our East location. She is a big fan of the TV show The Office.
David is originally from Lakeland, Florida and moved to Gainesville to pursue an education in animal sciences at the University of Florida. He hopes to attend vet school upon graduation with special interest in large animal medicine. He has been working as a veterinary technician since high school and he joined the Gainesville Animal Hospital team in January 2016. He enjoys four wheeling, wakeboarding, and traveling during his spare time. Indy is a new addition to the family, but has won over his heart quicker than he could have imagined!
My name is Kamryn and I have been working at Gainesville Animal Hospital since August 2015 when I moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida. I am currently pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in both animal sciences and zoology and plan to go to UF for my DVM. I have 2 cats-Olivia Benson and Snow White-a shepherd mix named Sapphire, and a Goffin’s Cockatoo named Hedwig. I am a senior technician at the West location and am in charge of the hospital websites.
Mike has been working for Gainesville Animal Hospital for as long as we can remember! He assists with patient care and helps the hospital complete essential functions. Because of Mike, we are able to offer our Friday Bath Special at Gainesville Animal Hospital East.
My name is Rachel and I began working at Gainesville Animal Hospital in January 2017 as a veterinary technician. I attend school at the University of Florida as an Animal Biology major, and plan on becoming a small animal veterinarian. I have two dogs, Cody (Rhodesian Ridgeback and Pit Bull mix) and Rudy (American Bulldog and Pit Bull mix). In my free time I enjoy reading, playing the flute, doing yoga, and creating nail art.
Rebekah was born and raised in Florida. She is currently a student at the University of Florida pursuing a degree in microbiology. She has been a member of our team since September 2016, and she is enjoying learning about the various aspects of veterinary medicine every day. Rebekah has a wide array of animals at home, including dogs, cats, horses, goats, cows, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons. In her free time, she enjoys going fishing and taking care of her animals. Rebekah is also Gainesville Animal Hospital’s 2017 Employee of the Year!
Sara is from Miami, Florida, where she graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences from Florida International University in 2016. She began working as a receptionist and veterinary technician at both Gainesville Animal Hospital East and West in August 2017. Together, Sara and her family have three hilarious dogs named Prince Wendell (Corgi mix), Petunia (Chihuahua-Rat terrier mix), and Hennessy (Dalmatian-Pit mix), as well as a handsome tuxedo cat named Kitty Cat. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, practicing archery, playing video games, and all things Game of Thrones.
